Reach Higher

I challenge myself

I aim high, and I'm not put off if things seem hard

I know I can be part of the best

See Further

I'm imaginative - I like ideas, and I like other people's ideas

I know about different places in the world

I'm good at coming up with different possibilities

Shine Brighter

I get on well with other people

I'm proud of what I do well, I'm proud of my school and I know where I'm going

I'll help you shine too!

Reception teacher - September 2021 start

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a full-time teacher with a Reception class, starting in September 2021.

Are you an enthusiastic and ambitious Early Years teacher, ready to take the next step in your career in one of the most exciting and rewarding teaching environments in Oxford?  This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher to join our established and highly supportive teaching team, working in our beautiful new school buildings, and to contribute to the next stage in our school’s success story.

RECEPTION GALLERY

Wood Farm Primary School is a vibrant and thriving school on the outskirts of the city. We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident teacher who has high expectations for themselves and for children and who is passionate about learning. Already judged ‘good’ by Ofsted, this is your chance to join a team where everyone strives to be the best they can be.  We have two Reception classes, with an extensive shared garden, and the successful applicant will be working alongside an established colleague in a wider team of nursery nurse, teachers, and teaching assistants.  Serving a diverse school community, with over 400 pupils in total who come from a wide range of backgrounds, working at Wood Farm School is a genuine opportunity to make a lasting difference to children’s lives.

Being a teacher at Wood Farm Primary means having the chance to make a lasting difference.

You will either be a newly qualified teacher with successful teaching experience in the Early Years Foundation Stage and looking to specialize in this age group, or you might be a more established teacher with a strong track record in Reception.  Either way you will be an energetic and inspiring teacher, and an excellent team player.  As a Reception teacher at Wood Farm School you will benefit from close professional connections with our linked Nursery School, and our excellent track record in supporting new and established teachers in their professional development.
