Year 2 Oxford Sightseeing Tour!
Today, Year 2 took their learning beyond the classroom with an exciting open-top bus tour around Oxford. As part of our Geography project, ‘Castles to Kangaroos’, we explored the physical and human features of Oxford and Sydney.

It was brilliant to spot the landmarks we’ve been studying in real life across the city, including Carfax Tower, Magdalen Bridge, Oxford Castle and the canal.
From historic buildings and famous landmarks to the bustling streets and green spaces, the open-top bus gave us fantastic, cinematic views of Oxford. It was a brilliant opportunity to see our learning in action and deepen our understanding of the world around us!
