World Book Day

We had a fantastic day on Thursday, celebrating books and reading across the school.

We started with a special assembly, with Mrs Prendergast sharing the story 'Superworm' and reminding us all of the magic of stories. During the day everyone enjoyed some fun activities - including paired reading across classes and a visit from a 'Mystery Reader' in each class!

Of course lots of people chose to dress up too - and there were some spectacular costumes and transformations on display!
