Wood Farm join the Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra!

This week, ten Year 6 pupils attended a music event called 'Percussimo', performing with the Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra at the Dragon school.

Over 100 children from different Oxford primary schools attended.

It was a fantastic day where the children had the chance to play the gamelan, djembe drums and percussion used in an orchestra, then they performed a huge ensemble percussion piece to an audience.

The children represented our school amazingly: they were polite, respectful and incredibly focused throughout the day. Even standing in the rain waiting for the taxi to arrive for 20 minutes didn't dampen their spirits!
