We were delighted this week when Wood Farm's very own "Green Team" made the local news for the amazing work they've been doing to help create a greener Headington.

Wood Farm School's Green team has been busy planting 200 bulbs in Headington, cleaning graffiti, and picking up litter in Bury Knowle Park.

The team also planted flowers and herbs at Wood Farm shops, and added signs to inform the community that they can pick and use the herbs, which include mint, rosemary, and chives.

The team expressed pride in their contributions, stating their hope that their efforts will instill a sense of community pride in others too.

They believe that such initiatives can transform Headington into a happier, greener place to live.

Year 5 student, Nate, penned a note on behalf of the team, writing: "We’re really proud of what we’ve done and hope our work helps everyone feel proud of our community too.

"Together, we can all make Headington a happier, greener place to live!"
