Reach Higher

I challenge myself

I aim high, and I'm not put off if things seem hard

I know I can be part of the best

See Further

I'm imaginative - I like ideas, and I like other people's ideas

I know about different places in the world

I'm good at coming up with different possibilities

Shine Brighter

I get on well with other people

I'm proud of what I do well, I'm proud of my school and I know where I'm going

I'll help you shine too!

SEN - Working with Parents and Children

We will always contact parents or carers if we have a concern that a child or young person may have a special educational need.

We work closely with children and young people with SEN and their parents to write a Wood Farm School Support Profile, which agrees outcomes and how we will all work towards these, and then to review progress. We do this by three-yearly review meetings, parent evening meetings and regular informal discussions.

There are also opportunities for parents and children to contribute to our policies on SEN and Equality. We do this by: feedback from our annual parent/carer survey, suggestions received directly from parents and children, parent forum, school council, parent/teacher consultation meetings.
