PPA Reception Teacher (F1) Temporary until August 2018
We are looking for a talented teacher to join us as soon as possible to provide regular PPA cover in our Reception class (Part-time: one day-a-week, but with the possibility of additional time in key stage 1). This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join our established and supportive Reception team.
Wood Farm Primary School is a vibrant and thriving school on the outskirts of the city. We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident teacher who has high expectations for themselves and for children and who is passionate about learning. Already judged ‘good’ by Ofsted, as a school our mission is to ‘Be Outstanding’, where all members of the school community strive to be the best they can be. In return we can offer excellent professional support, the opportunity to be part of a friendly and enthusiastic team, and the chance to make a real difference to children’s lives.
We are looking for a great teacher to join us for one day a week, to provide cover in one of our Reception classes. You are likely to be either a newly qualified teacher with successful teaching experience in the Early Years Foundation Stage and be looking to specialize in this age group, or you might be a more established teacher with a strong track record in F1. Either way you will be an energetic and inspiring teacher, and an excellent team player. As a Reception teacher at Wood Farm School you will benefit from our close professional links with our neighbouring Nursery School and Children’s Centre, and our excellent track record in supporting new and established teachers in their professional development.
**We are also advertising for a 04.FTE KS1 PPA teacher and we will consider an application for both posts. Please specify on your application form if you are interested in both posts.
Visits to the school are strongly recommended: please contact Sam Taylor, PA to the head teacher, on 01865 762575 to arrange a visit.
All completed application forms must be emailed to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please telephone us for help with making an application.
